Time slips away!

I have been working on the house the last week or so geting it ready to sell. You just dont think of all the things you need to do to make that happen until it is time to do it. Cleaned up the yard and added flowers in a couple of areas. Got rid of the wood pile, and a few projects that I had around the house. Looking at trying to hire a painter to come in and paint the entire inside so that it will be nice and clean looking.
While trying to get all of this done, I got an email from the new boss, what if we dont provide all that we told you we would as far as relocation is concerned? Would you still move? WOW
WOW what a question. Here I thought it was all taken care of, now it looks like it might not be, now what? The house here is just like everyone else’s it will not sell in this market. I started doing research into renting it out, finding out that it will not rent for what the payments are on it. I would lose money each and every month that I continued to own it. I could try and sell it at what I have in it but even then it might not sell quickly enough to not take a big loss just making the payments until it sells.
It would all be ok if the job here was stable enough to look into the future and say that I could just stay here and continue. The problem there is that it is not that stable. Then you look at what do I do if I lose my job? What about the house payments then? In short right now at this second, it does not look good. Maybe I just need to start looking outside of the current company that I work for and go to work right here in the same area, and I think the jobs are out there.
I just do not want to start all over with a new company. I have a few years in here and know the ins and outs of the way the company works. Plus I have a nice retirement if I am able to make it that long.
Back to those choices… you just never know.
